[T-Mobile] Question about my T-Mobile plan

I have the T-Mobile $35 monthly prepaid unlimited text and talk. T-Mobile does offer roaming but can I get it on my current plan or do I need to upgrade my plan??? Also I have the option for $4 extra each month to sign up for Caller ID. Is that something I would ever need???

Do you mean domestic roaming (such as using AT&T's network when there's no T-Mobile coverage) or international roaming?

T-Mobile prepaid plans include domestic roaming at no extra cost. The following link has info on prepaid international voice and text roaming: »wac.04c7.edgecastcdn.net ··· ates.pdf Note that international roaming coverage is very limited compared to prepaid plans, and there is no data roaming for prepaid plans.

I'm talking about when I am going on a camping & fishing trip in Washington states and I go outside the network but where I am still at least in AT&T's network coverage area.

As I said, all T-Mobile plans, prepaid or postpaid, include domestic roaming at no extra charge. Whether you can actually roam in any given area is another question. There are a lot of places where T-Mobile does not have native coverage, yet you still cannot roam on other networks, and your phone will display the message 'emergency calls only'. In that case you can only place 9-1-1 calls.

Edit: See T-Mobile coverage map.
