Thanks, it took most of the day for pepper flash to update in Portage. Last time the update was available almost immediately.

I have downloaded and installed Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77 for Internet Explorer three times from this link:

It is not the 12.0.0.77 version. It is the 12.0.0.70 version.

The Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77 for Firefox from the same link is the correct version.

No one else seeing this??

Try this link: »get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
On the left side choose "Need Flash Player for a different computer?" Then pick your OS and the IE version. Be sure to uncheck the McAfee thingey in the middle before you proceed.

I know that, but thanks for the suggestion. It's a good reminder for those who don't.

I thought most here download from the Adobe Flash Player Distribution link, so I was surprised that nobody mentioned IE still being the older version.

Adobe has fixed the problem. I redownloaded a fourth time today from that link and now it is the 12.0.0.77 version.

IE wasn't the older version, IIRC, they were both released at the same time and yes, using the distribution link helps as that is what most of us are currently using.
