Comcast uses Carrier Pigeons as a redundancy for when e-mail goes down! .....I know...bad joke! Ha!

Actually, with modern large capacity micro SD cards, RFC 1149 can be a relatively efficient transmission medium (if you aren't concerned with the lag time).
