sam1216 and p793h-v2 connectionhi everybody. I have a problem. I have an IES1000 DSLAM with a SAM1216-22 shdsl card and some dsl modems(P793h-v2). I want to make connection between modems and DSLAM. I could not do that. I have no experience about zyxel DSLAMs. could everybody help me please. thanks. |

You should get in touch with your local ZyXEL office, they have guides and support notes that covers this. |

This forum got end users as members, very few if any have the equipment that you have, since its the equipment that ISP deploys more than something end users buy.
So its doubtful anybody got the knowledge to help you, thats why you should get in touch with ZyXEL or the ones that sold you the equipment. |

Yes, but you need the correct STU-C firmware (default) on the SAM1216. But the SAM1216 is only a module, that needs to be inserted into an IES-1000M |

thank you for answer. what firmware I need to use for it? (I have an IES-1000 too) when I connect these two equipment together dsl light turns on in both of them but I have no ping on PCs in two sides. I dont know why. |

I assume its AIO branch that you need, but it comes with the correct firmware as default.
If you got a dsl link, then its wrong PVC or some other network related issues you need to look at.
Consult the userguides and support notes that came with your devices. ZyXEL support and your reseller shall also be able to help you with this. |
