im guessing that is a strong vpn ip on a toronto server. pretty impressive to get those speeds if it is. what is the max download you get without a vpn? even 70mbit on a 50mbit line is alot!

Since you're on the VPN, they don't give accurate results. My 15\1 connection is suddenly a 15-25/4-8 on VPN.

Upload speeds weren't great this time around but here is on VPN



And off VPN directly with TSI



Both were tested on Teksavvy's speedtest server over @ speedtest.net and i peaked at over 45mbit download (On the VPN test). Oddly upload isn't going up like it normally does.

Yes. Only get those speeds via PPTP.

Oddly enough only get that speed using the asus rt-ac66u as vpn server.

Without vpn steady 50 dl.

VPN connections often do compression giving a speed boost for any data that can be compressed.
