Video cableing

I have Charter bundled: line in to home is split to phone, modem, TV's (3, two w/box, one w/o). No inter-active services. I intend to amp. and know not to include modem. Do I include phone line? Where is the best place to put amp?
Is it best to amp. then run cable to TV or cable then amp closer to TV then split?
Thanks!

Why amp? What are you current signal levels?

Btw everything with a box from charter is considered interactive so modem, phone, and cable boxes.

Not an expert, but I assume the same rules apply to the phone as they do the modem. Do not connect to the amp. So I guess you could connect the main line into a normal 2 way splitter then one line gets connected to another 2 way splitter for the phone and modem. The other line get connected to the amp then to a 3-way splitter for the TVs. By the way the 1 TV without a box will need one before the end of the year as Charter is going all digital everywhere by then.

Why do you need an amp? If you do they have amps that have passive splits built in that are for modems.
