those release notes only go up to 6.6. would you happened to have the firmware image I could get?

Docsis3 doesn't allow modems to be updated by the end user because the firmware is specifically tailored for each isp. (thats what motorola told me)

Finally got it and yes it can be flashed to the modem by the end user; using a USBJTAG @ www.usbjtag.com

Yes, you can flash it via JTAG, but for many users that won't make any difference, because the ISP will just overwrite your firmware with whatever version that they currently support as soon as your modem goes on-line on their network. My newest SB6121 came with the 1.0.6.12 firmware from the factory, but Comcast immediately pushed the 1.0.6.10 firmware version that they support.
