[MO] Why is Springfield, MO's routing so awful. ATT Halp

Okay so it's always been this way but I'm starting to seriously wonder, why is outbound from Springfield, MO routing so bad? No matter what I am tracerouting, my connection ALWAYS goes Home->Kansas City->Dallas->Out.

For example, my company has my routing going through PCCW by way of Chicago->Atlanta Backhaul->Jacksonville. With mediacom, this makes my routing really wonky.

The traceroute (I'll paste below) ends up running Home->Kansas City(ATT)->Dallas(ATT)->Chicago(ATT)->Atlanta(PCCW)->JAX.

Any way to get someone to eyeball this and look into it? Feel like routing should be more like Home->Kansas City->Chicago instead of Home->Kansas City->Dallas->Chicago.

Should note that it's always done this. Always always routes via ATT to Kansas City then Dallas. Regardless if I'm going for something West coast, East coast, North of Kansas City, South of Kansas City. Always always always routes through Dallas first.

Honestly, if you are not having any service issues, I wouldn't worry about the route in which the tracert is going. If for any reason you do happen to have any service issues, please feel free to let me know.
