[Anveo] Recording calls using "**" and Obi

Anveo allows you to record your call by pressing ** while in the call. However, the Obi (obi100 in my case) doesn't pass the stars as it uses them for it's own purposes. See this old thread:

»[Anveo] "Allow call recording by pressing **" in SIP Control

Does anyone know how to modify the Digitmap in Obi to allow this Anveo function and yet still retain the Obi ** functionality as well?

Sorry, but I don't believe that thread. AFAIK, once on a connected call, OBi devices don't interpret DTMF in any way. (Of course, they do listen for DTMF and convert to RFC2833 or INFO as configured.)

You can confirm this by calling another DID (or your mobile) from the OBi, pressing ** and hearing the expected tones.

If ** works properly from a softphone, you can use the OBi debug functions to see whether the correct tones are being sent.
