OmnitiK and STX, which firmware has proven stable for you?

We have just bought an Omnitik for a small POP and we will be using STX CPE's. MTK has proven to be a great OS, but not every single version:(. So, which is the favored version for this kind of scenario? We have 4.16(x86) for our core and 5.24 for some of the other router boards throughout our network. This will be our first wireless deployment using MTK.

As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

If it's just a bridge about anything will work. We are using 6.7 on the Wireless bridges I am managing. The problem lies is when you try to make the AP do things like pppoe, routing, etc. IMHO an AP is just a dumb bridge. It's whole purpose in life should be wireless functions.

The AP will be strictly in bridge mode, everything else is handled elsewhere. How about parameters on the wireless side? Any insight you can offer?

Thanks
