[WIN7] Bluetooth quandary/decision

Recently bought a Dell Optiplex 780 Windows 7 machine which, for all the investigating done, does not include Bluetooth.

Am also interested in picking up a keyboard/mouse combo, but a couple I've been looking at have Bluetooth.

Without having to crack the case open and install an additional piece of hardware, is it safe to presume that a simple USB/Bluetooth dongle will allow Bluetooth peripherals to play nice on said pc?

Typically, bluetooth mice and keyboards come with a compatible dongle and the necessary drivers to make them work on any Windows 7 PC.

'Preciate the prompt reply, darcilicious See Profile. Good to know there won't be much more involved than plugging in a (literally) thumbnail-sized doohickey.
