[NBA] The Official NBA Playoffs/Finals 2014 thread

It's a little over two weeks until the NBA playoffs start. It ought to be an exciting playoffs this year. Will the Heat 3peat or will another team take the championship this year? Time will tell.

The following teams are currently slated to compete in the playoffs this year.

Dallas and Memphis made it into the playoffs for the West and the Suns won't make the postseason.

Congrats to Miami Heat for sweeping the Charlotte Bobcats (4-0). Miami continues to the next round.

The Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls (4-1) and are moving on to the next round for the tjhird time since the 1970s.

Keeping it close and exciting, the Portland Trail Blazers are moving on to playoffs round 2 with a (4-2) series victory over the Houston Rockets.

Good job to the Brooklyn Nets for winning a close one (4-3) vs the Raptors.
The LA Clippers won vs the Golden State Warriors (4-3)
Dallas Mavericks were sent home by the San Antonio Spurs (4-3)
The Pacers move on to the second round vs the Hawks (4-3)
OKC sent the Grizzles packing (4-3)

On to Round 2 of the Playoffs!

The Miami Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 4-1 to advance to the NBA east finals

The Spurs easily beat the Blazers 4-1 to advance to the west finals.

OKC defeated the LA Clippers 4-2 to advance to the NBA west finals.

The Pacers beat the Wizards 4-2 to advanced to the east finals.

Congrats to the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs for moving on to the final round to play for the championship. A rematch of last year's finals.

The Heat defeated the Pacers 4-2 while the Spurs beat the Thunder 4-2 to move on.

Game 2: Miami Heat won 98 - 96

Game 3: Historic performance by the Spurs 111 - 92 to win this game in Miami

Game 4: Another blowout game in Miami for the Spurs at they win it 107 - 86

The Spurs are now up 3 - 1.
