Same results both way: for a very short while (less than a minute) as the modem is booting, I can connect with http or telnet, but after that both ports are closed, though it still responds to ICMP echo requests to 192.168.0.1. Same behavior with two different C1000A units in transparent bridge mode, don't have this problem in "normal" mode.
Just curious, why are you using a switch between the modem and router when the C1000A has four LAN ports on it?
