Email Down

Hello Teksavvy People,

Looks like it's time for the daily email outage :)

Task 'xyz@teksavvy.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Thank you for bringing this up. Same with my personal email account. I sent it off to the appropriate team to have it looked into.

Don't TSI email users phone support BEFORE trying to use it, to see if it is actually working at the time?
That might be less frustrating...

Get ye to Gmail, or even Hotmail.

I'd rather stick with Teksavvy mail instead of the big three based in the States. Never got any junk mail. Don't have to have special folders to try to sort out the spam. At least it's based in Canada.
I had Rogers email when I had their cable service. Initially I didn't receive any crap but the minute they teamed up with Yahoo the spam came at a furious pace even though I was careful which sites I visited or which businesses I dealt with. When I switched over to Teksavvy email the Viagra ads stopped coming which was constant at Rogers.

Better to register your own domain name and point that to Teksavvy's mail service. That way you don't lose your e-mail address when you change ISPs.
