tar and feather

the very people in charge of doing something about this issue do nothing? apparently it's legal to be corrupt while they have the best interests of the corporations and screw over the taxpayer who PAYS THEIR SALARY. but then again NJ is only 2nd to Illinois in it's scope of statewide corruption. NJ must be jealous. nice work being corrupt & accountable to no-one isn't it? I don't see these people on foodstamps or worrying how to make ends meet.

Taxpayers in some of the largest states got FLEECED FOR BILLIONS in tax breaks that were supposed to net the municipalities next generation broadband, but instead got either nothing, or what is now becoming very expensive broadband via wireless or wire line (as the rebranding & slogan warnings are the indicators of).

Telco exclusivity on their franchises must end in the densest population states. That's what's needed to break this monopoly logjam that's killed off innovation/competition and made prices more expensive with no real improvements in service.

this has gotten so bad, that state governments are willing to throw money at cablecos instead... I wonder why this is the case, if they're willing to throw millions more for bad after bad deals, WHY not move some (regulatory) mountains to get Google fiber into more communities?!?
