AT&T Threatens to Take Ball, Go Home Over 600 MHz Spectrum Rules → Spectrum consolidation

It has been posted on this site that AT&T spectrum is fragmented while the other cell companies have a more continuous spectrum. They may be trying to buy what they need to have the same spectrum range across the country.

I know I work in an area that is small towns and mostly farmland and large areas I had poor service connections a year ago now may have several bars. The holes are now spotty. The hording everybody throws out in posts may be spectrum that is active now. It is hard to make big plans until a company knows what it wins in a big auction.
