How do I take a picture with the webcam and post the picture in HQ? Let say I want to take a picture of myself and post it on here, how do I do that. I took a few of myself before and the PQ is grainy.

The quality of the picture fully depends on the output of the webcam. For example, I have Logitech QuickCam E1000 from at least 6 years ago. Do to its age, it will only take pictures at 1.3 MP's. By today's standards, that is super low quality.

What kind of webcam do you have, and do you know what the MP output is? That would be the first place to start to verify if you can take and post pictures in HQ.

Good lighting when the photo is taken will help remove grain.

Also, it's almost impossible to take a low quality image and make it high quality.
The reverse of course is possible.

Sometimes, reducing the actual size of the image will "sharpen" it up some. It may be that your webcam pictures will look better when reduced dimensionally.
