Holy crap! 300 million service calls a year?

But doesn't Comcast only have about 22 million customers? So that comes out to about 13 service calls per customer, per year? That's a shitload of calls.....

Exactly !! As the old adage goes, "figures don't lie, but LIARS figure". I think we all know what Comcast does.

Not true and never will be.

Restrictions that have been introduced thus far have been a complete *lack* of restrictions. That's wishful thinking.

TWC is bad, but letting comcast absorb them won't improve anything either.

That's one call per month. And those calls could be tech support, service outages, billing issues, service upgrades or downgrades, etc.

Doesn't sound unreasonable, although I will admit in my own case (U-Verse customer) I've probably called them less than a dozen times in the approx. ten years I've had their service.

Properly installed, satellite systems do not "go down every time it rains". Only in the worst of worst downpours is it even an issue.
