»www.engadget.com/2014/04 ··· program/

Just installed the latest beta. Haven't used it enough to give much feedback yet.

Ah public beta. Because ignoring developer reports isn't enough.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I've been in Appleseed since 10.0 Public Beta. I can't wait for clients to install this and ask us to support it.....

Oh geez, that brings back bad memories. Though, if clients are savvy enough to find the link to the beta program and activate it, one would hope they'd be wise enough to know what kind of troubles they might be getting themselves into.

I used to participate in beta programs--I was a beta tester for Windows 98 and ME actually, but these days I don't have an extra computer to sacrifice to the beta gods.

It is quite nice for someone like our institutional IT department though, so they can test things like our site-wide encryption and VPN software against the updates, and either fix them or send out an alert message coincident with the release.

I thought the .0 releases performed this function?
