[Anveo] Anveo special promotional plans for Obitalk users - specifics? The Anveo promo plans for Obitalk users are attractive, basically adding blocks of free outgoing minutes (333 for $3.33, 1000 for $7.00, and 1,500 for $25.00 plan), as compared to their regular plans.
However, I have not been able to find the specifics of the plans anywhere. Can anyone here help?
I am looking for each plan:
- Number of items in Call Flow included - Number of sip accounts/sub-accounts - Can I use one of those accounts/sub-accts for a softphone (iphone) - Number of floating channels - Does it have to be tied to an Obi, or can I switch at a later date to another device?
Thanks in advance. |

OBITALK Special Packages are for OBITALK only (meaning OBI devices)
- Number of items in Call Flow included 10
- Number of sip accounts/sub-accounts 0
- Can I use one of those accounts/sub-accts for a softphone (iphone) no
- Number of floating channels No Floating channels. The phone number you will have on OBITALK special can receive 2 concurrent incoming calls
- Does it have to be tied to an Obi, or can I switch at a later date to another device? You can switch to another OBI device. |

Thank you for the quick reply.
One more question, does the Communicator App work with the Obitalk Plans? I have a couple of accounts, and I cannot get the one on the Obitalk Plan to work. The same app, when logging in with the other (regular plan) account, works perfectly. |

I don't know whether any of this may be prohibited by Anveo's ToS, but:
Anveo accepts unregistered calls, so your iPhone app could make calls using the same credentials as the OBi. For receiving, your call flow could fork the call to another (possibly free) account, e.g. Callcentric, to which your iPhone app would register.
Alternatively, you could set the OBi to fork incoming calls to your iPhone app and relay calls from the app. This would probably only work when the iPhone is connected to your home Wi-Fi, though with idyndns and careful configuration you may be able to make it work elsewhere. |

Thanks for the reply Stewart. It makes sense and I love the free account tip (callcentric).
However, my question referred specifically to the Anveo App, Communicator. It is a very cool app, but I cannot get it to work with the Obitalk Plan. I was asking if its use is included in that specific plan. Thanks again. |
