Link Depot HDMI 25 ft any good for HDTV to PC???

I want to plug my Insignia 55" LED 1080p 120Hz HDTV Model: NS-55E480A13A directly to my gaming PC. I saw this »www.amazon.com/Link-Depo ··· 4&sr=1-1 from Amazon. Is this HDMI a good one for the asking price???

Judging from Monoprice's prices that is probably a CL1 cable and not guaranteed to work with 1080p

It will probably work but just to be on the safe side, get a high speed HDMI cable. 25ft is not an issue. I have my HDTV connected as secondary monitor to my computer via a 25ft HDMI cable I got from Monoprice 5 years ago. They got 25ft 22-gauge high speed cables for less than $30.

I agree with Kilroy. For that price it is probably not a high speed cable. Forget all hype you see about HDMI cables. They are either standard speed or high speed. No such thing as 120 Hz or 4K or HDMI 1.4 cables or whatever stuff. The cables themselves don't care. You just need high speed for the more demanding applications and for longer distances, bigger wire gauge is better. 25ft is not a long distance, though.

I am presently running a 45' HDMI cable from a Video BOB connected to a computer in one room, to a 73" Display in the next room, and have had no problems getting it to work at full bandwidth native 1080i or 720p rates, or any issues due to the length of the cable.
I have a PC Scan converter who's output is 1080p via HDMI that I tried on this 45' cable as well, and encountered no issues with that, either.

I got the cable from Monoprice.... and it was not that expensive, either!

I am using Mediabridge Ultra Series cables. They are version 1.4, support ARC, 3D and are shielded very well.

I currently use a 25ft from Viewsonic 27 to a pc. A 10 ft from a PC to TV and a 10 ft from Blu-Ray to TV.

I just purchased a 50 ft cable to run from a receiver with upconvert to a Dukane 8971 projector.

Check out Mediabridge -
