[Tech Ops] Wireless inversion again

Following up on this thread that's now closed
»Improving a link badly affected by "Temperature inversion"

Does anyone have any good solutions? It's that time of the year again and I'm starting to dread nice days!

Right now i'm running a 2.4 PTP link, If I toss up a parallel 5.8, will it have the same issues as the 2.4, or at least, not have them at the same time. I'm thinking I just have to over power the link and hope it doesn't fade right out.

I remember this. That link for me is long gone.. Don't miss it.
So besides a trip down memory lane, lol.. I have no help.. I never fixed it.

Some links I have now, and have had in the past I have re-run in radio mobile, using the land cover feature, which I never used before, just to discover now that they are blocked by trees, bush lots.. Using something like ligowave link calculator shows them to be perfect links but doesn't show trees.

Ive worked to move some of these links with either weaker than expected signal or poor performance to other spots.

Space diversity with no higher than 32APSK modulation (used for satcom) works very well.
