Possible to restrict just Wifi and not wired speed?Using a Belkin F5D8236-4 wifi router. I share an internet connection with wifi users who drastically slow down the speed watching videos. I'm the only one on wired service here and I was wondering if its possible to limit certain wifi ports or just all of them? I'd like to use QoS for my VOIP sometimes as well, but only when I need it. Also, when I'm not online it would be great if there were no wifi speed limits so the others could benefit. |

While I have a Belkin F9K1004 Wireless N Router, it can set QoS per IP address or range of address.
You could check on your router's QoS page to see if you can set QoS policies based on IP ranges. If so, you could set a static lease for your wired computer (e.g. 192.168.0.2) and then set QoS polices for 192.168.0.3-192.168.0.254 for example. |

Doesn't QoS ensure adequate bandwith per port? I'm trying to restrict bandwith per port. |
