[Connectivity] Can't connect - need helpSeems I've created a problem. I wanted to connect another brand of ADSL modem/router in place of my Actiontec GT704WG, and use it in bridge mode. In the status menu of the Actiontec I clicked 'disconnect'. Then plugged the DSL line into the new modem in bridge mode, connected to my laptop. It connected right away and I had internet. I then unplugged the DSL and put it back into the original Actiontec. I clicked 'connect' in the menu and it couldn't... I then realized I probably should have released the DHCP on my computer. Now I can't connect either way, through the bridged modem/router or through the Verizon Actiontec. Any ideas on what to try? |
