Linux gets fix for code-execution flaw that was undetected since 2009
Time to move on .... "Maintainers of the Linux kernel have patched one of the more serious security bugs to be disclosed in the open source operating system in recent months. ...I should have added that a) this is not to knock either OSS software or the movement itself, and b) this was more for the types that I've seen that espouse OSS "becuase it's more [insert adjective / praise / etc] than closed-source."
My personal corollary to stuff like this this has always been "if it can be made by human hands, it can be broken by human hands."
