CBS Sports Network HD New Add Channel 594 VHO5CBS Sports HD added in VHO5 (NY) this morning at Channel 594. Its not in the guide - you have to manually input to see it.
Nice to see a popular addition for once - although I'm sure non-sports fans won't like it - I do. |

It is the only channel currently on this QAM. Two more MPEG-2 QAM carriers were switched to 3 HD channel loading. 7 (177 MHz): 568 WGN America HD, 683 TruTV HD, 789 The Hub HD 99 (117 MHz): 634 Smithsonian HD, 651 HSN HD, 780 Disney HD They also have only one MPEG-2 channel on 321 MHz (Al Jazeera HD) so we now have room for 2 to 4 additional MPEG-2 HD channels and another 4 MPEG-4 HD channels at 69 MHz (Pivot HD is the only MPEG-4 HD channel here). |

Good grief, so they add MPEG-4 channels available in other middle tiers in SD but unavailable in HD. Then add a channel only available in Ultimate, but use MPEG-2. |
