I have the free version. Is there a way to update the program internally through my current version (2.0.1.1004)? Or, do I have to install the new version on top of the current one? I could not find an option to update the program internally. Thanks.

Edit: Ahhh....I just read that you had said it would be available through the internal updater in a few days. However, I still did not see that option in the free version. Maybe it will notify me when it's available?

Scanned a ~ 1.25 meg file in ~ 1.5 seconds - seems fast enough for my liking and expectations.

So, what's the word? Have they done enough bug fixes to make the new version ready-for-prime-time? I keep getting those pop-up alerts telling me to install it.

You're actually getting pop up alerts to install this new version??
I'm still patiently waiting for an alert to update from v2.0.1.1004.

I'm still on 1.75.0.1300, and yes I'm getting update alerts, but I think it's because during one of my updates I actually downloaded the update file itself, but I followed the instructions on one of the threads here and deleted the update .exe file so it wouldn't automatically install. I probably didn't delete, though, whatever file is triggering the reminders, and since it just fades in and fades out, it doesn't bother me.

Thanks G....I couldn't figure out how to update the program on the free version through an internal update, so I went ahead and installed the new version over the older one.

An OEM or non OEM configured PC shouldn't have any effect how any version of MBAM works, detects things or behaves.
