[IA] Modem not bonding channels anymoreMy modem was bonding 5 download channels yesterday,now it only has 1 channel.Its a Motorola SBG6580.Anyone else with this problem? |

I'm fine here. I'd try re-booting if you haven't already, and/or unplug for 30 seconds or so. |

Eh.. sorry. Was hoping it was just something obvious.
I know they're doing maintenance again in our area to upgrade to 8 channels down. |

I talked to Mediacomchad about it and he said that he didn't see any maintenance going on in the area.But I hope you are right. |

Let me know when you notice the speed increase, because the tech that came out today told me that some people might not notice a speed increase.He also said it was my modem that was the fault for the channel bonding issue that I was having. |

I'm not sure I buy that. Unfortunately some of the techs we have around here are.. ummmm.. I'll put it politely. Not very good.  lol |

mine do that sometimes too, power cycle the modem and they other come back or are back by morning.
speeds suffer but if you are 30mbps or under channel bonding isnt needed. (atleast for the 20mbps and under i am 100% certain. |

Looks like mediacom here in the Quad Cities didn't get 8 channels bonded yet. Unfortunate. Power levels/speeds are really strange, not only for myself but quite a few others as well. |
