That Windows XP appears to be a key to this self immolation of the Truecrypt developers would indicate to me that the developers may be Chinese. The Chinese have gone ballistic over support ending for Windows XP and are refusing to license MS software. Maybe because all the XP licenses were stolen and never paid for.
