Once you change to a channel the timer starts. The timer is for 4 hours. Just hit any button on the remote, for example "Guide" every 3ish hours.

Same boxes I'm sure. »forums.castanet.net/view ··· start=45 So for Bell, it would depend on if the shutdown is programmed in the box(Admin Root access) or at the C.O.(send shut down command to save on bandwidth).
