these fees make no fucking sense at all..

The thing is.. They have to raise the price on the service if they are doing a price increase or charging more for it. They cannot and should never be allowed to tack on a "service fee" after the cost of a service has been advertised and rendered as such.

Inside that fee for $39.99/mo or whatever we pay, is included for full cost of operation of the service. The service has always paid for itself and made profits; In fact investors receive giant helpings of ever increasing amounts of quarterly profits per share, calculating based on the profit they made after operational costs, system build outs, and taxes.

All they're doing with these fees is using them to hide the true cost of a service. A fee is designed to advertise a service at a lower rate and then later bill at a higher rate hidden from the public's initial impressions of the service price creating a sense of value and competition that is not really there. They do this because they know if someone sees a lower cost advertised they will jump to that or think it's better IN THEIR MINDs; And if they advertise a higher cost it will have no meaning to the public and won't attract informed consumes quite as much.

The reality is however that no service fees are necessary and it's mostly money being collected to pay investors and not to improve service. Because like I said, $39.99 covers the cost of the service .. But to increase stock value and money payable per investor they add on service fees that increase the amount people pay.
