Modem "Shootout" HT1000 vs. HN7000s vs. Verizon DSL GT784WNV

Below you will find speed test at various times.
I have tried various testing sites with similar results. Used speedtest.net for most.
Both Hughesnet plans are "Business Plans" - apparently US based tech support and a different server than consumer plans.

Plans:
Verizon DSL rated 1.1-3Mbps/0.384-0.768 about 20,000ft from the switch
HN7000s rated 2Mbps/0.3 -150 at 89W, was at 83W but HN not using anymore
HT1000 rated 10Mbps/2 - at 107.1W Beam 25 outroute/gateway ID - 3

Other info: When we first got DSL it was great at ~2.85/0.85, then got line trouble and phone was unuseable; speeds dropped to ~0.5/0.6. Was fixed but speeds only back to ~1/0.4. Verizon tech support was about as worthless as HN's. (But they did not tell me it was "in spec" so "working fine"). Was told line only good for ONE Meg, they had billing on phone to go over plan... --- got nowhere. So I called the tech that did the work at the house. He was able to open a repair order and got me back to current speeds of ~2.5/0.7. I also guess their equivalent of the "NOC" cut my speeds down due to the interference and has to be manually reset as well.

Also note -- the DSL is faster due to latency over GEN4/HN7000s especially if on HTTPS sites. Gen4 can be very fast but not consistently -- generally works well if you can deal with latency. Devices like "MagicJack" actually work on the HN7000s (even when it is r.e.a.l.l.y slow), but will not work on HT1000(Gen4) as they do not give you "quality of service" because they have their own VOIP they want to sell you... to bad you could not buy "Qos" for few bucks a month on Gen4.

Tests will be in this order (by line) Verizon, HN7000s, HN Gen4; (time is EST):

Overall the DSL is quite solid, but not extremely fast.

The HN7000s even on the Business plan is quite sluggish and at times not useable (despite it pulling good speeds at times). --- Years ago it did work fine. (and yes good signal strength and I did re-cycle the modem)
However the HN7000s with the larger dish and 2 watt transmitter rarely ever goes out unless a severe thunderstorm is in the way of the satellite path to the Clark belt or if snow from the roof piles up and gets in way of the dish.

The Gen4 (HT1000) generally also performs well as long as latency is not an issue, weather fade is rare.

*On this test, few minutes before was too slow even to load web page.
**Quite slow, had to use speakeasy.net

Hope that is useful to some.
