Usage different between 341U display and Sprint siteI wanted to compare the information displayed on the 341U to the usage stated on my account at the Sprint web site. I'm finding a large difference: 2.58GB on the 341U display and 6.53GB on the Sprint web site.
I have the account thru wirelessnwifi - don't think that should matter.
Anyone else seen this difference and if so what might be the real number? |

if you're using a router use it to track your data usage. you can set a rule that will alert you when you get close to your data cap. of course then you will have 3 different data usage figures. i go by what router tells me. been good so far. |

Thanks for the feedback. I have a MBR1400. I'll set it up to give me alerts.
It seems like the 341U display is very inaccurate. It always seems low and sometimes actually decreases over the course of several days. I do go on the Sprint web site and check what they claim at times.
Thanks again for the feedback. |

My 341 readout was worthless until I updated the firmware to the 2014 version. Now it's very accurate (perhaps a tad low).
My MBR95 was reasonable accurate before the update, now it's worthless (showing less than 1/2 real usage).
Contributing factors are the turnup of Band-26 in my area at the same time. Last I checked, my location switches between B-25 / 26. My assumption is the MBR is not tracking B-26 correctly or such (spark?).
Interestingly, I also had to hook up a second external Ant. to get good service when B-26 showed up. May have some other location reasons, but that's what I had to do. (i.e. first Ant. is using an amplifier on Yogi, but the second is not.) |
