[OOL] Disabled WPS but the LED is still on?

I did the same thing when I had a Sagemcom.... I have their Dlink router now.. their tech support insists that it is off even though lights are on... but you really have no idea, do we? it's their firmware. Obv buy your own instead of using their router if it bothers you... personally, I cant afford a new one and it is faaaaster than my old one...

Sure you do! just survey your area when a router is off and compare to when it's on. If you see some unknown wifi ap show up when the router is on, you'll know it's working. If you see no change then obviously it's just light and nothing else.

i just tested with a device that will show if WPS is available.

it says "secured with WPA2 (WPS available)"
