1) Are you on wired or wireless? 2) What modem are you using? 3) What are your signal levels? » 192.168.100.14) What router are you using (assuming it isn't a built in eRouter-modem). |

Do you have a Motorola 6141? That sort-of looks like the problem others are reporting. Slow download, but normal upload. |

AlphaQ , have a look at this if you already haven't, and report back » Comcast High Speed Internet FAQ » How To Get Help!said by andyross:Slow download, but normal upload. is 5 up normal for the 50mbps down tier? always figured it was ~11-12 up for that one |

Which version of Windows (7, 7sp1, 8, 8.1...)? And the LAN card in your computer?
And, what's the version of the LAN drivers - old and new? Since you got rid of the old driver you may not know its version number.
Might be useful for all of us to know. |

Might be useful for all of us to know. Windows 8.1 , reinstalled drivers from laptop manufacturer which is Lan_Atheros_2.1.0.15_W8x64_A . Should have noticed it sooner as the wifi was working at the rated speeds, but the wired wasn't. |
