Seriously, Karl?Do you have to invent a way to plug T-Mobile even when writing about Sprint or AT&T or Verizon or US Cellular or C-Spire, etc.? So basically, any promotion, offer, course correction, whatever is due to T-Mobile? Amazing... |

So Sprint just decided to do this all of the sudden?
You remember Sprint's upgrade program: OneUp? (discontinued now in favor of the Framily) Yup, had nothing to do with T-Mobile's JUMP upgrade plan... No doubt about it.
Sprint's Easy Pay installments with no service commitment.... Wouldn't have happened without T-Mobile doing it first.
T-Mobile is dragging the industry along behind it. |

Are you saying that Karl is incorrect by acknowledging that Sprint announces 30 day policy AFTER T-Mobile's Test Drive announcement?! |

This is one of those things where the journalist in charge appropriately tries to associate the "press releases" with some kind of competition occurring between the companies. at best it pisses Sprint off that they didn't keep their original guarantee plan around, considering it was the best plan. now it took T-Mobile offering up free test drive service to reinvigorate Sprint. Actually Sprint was pretty competitive years ago; SERO plans for $30, the Sprint Guarrantee was pretty nice, and they had the first marketing of 4G with their WiMAX network.
Sprint actually is closer to T-Mobile than people think. essentially they both are before their time companies with the best value in town. Sprint has only fallen behind thanks to lackluster LTE .. even in areas with Spark. In this age only 4G and LTE service matter and Sprint is stuck with some spotty ass coverage and 3G fallback from the stone ages. |

When Karl writes about Sprint it is more opinionated blog than news. |
