WordPad with spell check?

I have Win 7

Microsoft Word is just too heavy

I really like the WordPad - it's like what Word used to be 10 years ago - only more up to date ...

but I see WordPad is missing spell checker

any solution? copy paste to Chrome/FireFox to check spelling

any alike good light WordPad or other version?

what do you think?

thank you ..

I use Tiny Spell with Word Pad:

It comes in a free version and in a paid version. Free works for me. It also checks spelling in other situations, like in forums, email, etc.

thanks!

I know bout it from »www.techsupportalert.com ··· ment.htm

sucks that it doesn't underline misspelled words - Word and even Chrome and FireFox do ..

Tomahawk PDF+ is a free word processor similar to Jarte but with a PDF creator and the ability to underline misspelled words as you type. (There's also a pro version with additional features.) It works great on Windows 7 for me, but not sure if it works on 8 since it hasn't been updated since 2011.
