As was mentioned before just port your phone number to a VoIP provider that has the option to email you your voice messages. I use OnSip. I'm sure other providers offer the same thing.
Get a Polycom phone with a USB port and put a USB stick in so you can record conversations also. Other brand phones may offer the ability to record conversations also (I'm just familiar with the Polycoms as a desktop phone). This is very helpful when having to deal with Comcast, AT$T, Windstream, etc.
Any voice messages left on any of my numbers/extensions are immediately emailed to me with the caller ID, length of message, and date/time stamped.
