Sagemcom 2864 Parental ControlsHi I have a friend on Bell using the Sagemcom 2864. She wants to limit her kids access hours. Can this be done with this router, or does she need to bridge it and use another router? I found a manual for the Sagemcom 2864 in Bell.ca but it didn't list list as a configurable feature. Thanks AKS |

Simplest way without getting her own router is log into the sagemcom router page, enable guest wireless and she can either turn it off when she doesn't want them on the internet or ser up a timer for however long she wants |

Thanks but her kids are on wired connections. Can you only control wireless with the Sagemcom 2864? |

Thanks Martin
Sorry to ask for more, but when i search DSLreports and Google for "Bell Sagemcom 2864 bridge mode" i see all kinds of responses.
The manual I found from Bell doesn't go into this.
If i log into the Sagemcom 2864 is there a setting for bridge mode? Then on a router, is this a PPPOE connection? Username and Password from the Sagemcom 2864?
Will bridge mode disable the other ports on the Sagemcom 2864 If anyone has done this I'd really appreciate the correct steps. Thanks |

Your Router: Plug router in Sagemcon LAN1 port PPPoE: b1+password
The Sagemcon is set automatically in bridge |
