Re: [request] New Group Request in Moilla Software for Pale Moon

Makes sense, Pale Moon is becoming more popular.

I would like that. It seems like those with/using firefox don't wish to talk much regarding Pale Moon. Perhaps even a separate section in the Mozilla forum area?

Anyway you may want to change the title from Moilla to Mozilla

I started using Pale Moon a few weeks ago and I too have noticed that it is a bit "touchy" topic in Mozilla forum so I think a sub forum or group would be great.

It's getting more popular partly because Fx 24 ESR is close to End of Life and most of us using it do not want Australis (just as the latest reports on browser usage show that most users don't with Fx dropping significantly since Australis) so we ESR users will most likely be moving to Pale Moon (plus, ESR may be killed ...there is a call out to all ESR Enterprise users to respond to why they use ESR and why it should not be killed). So, Fx usage since Australis is down significantly among home users and I think Pale Moon is going to show a big surge in users.

Well this sounds good on the surface, but there are other forks in the Firefox road also, such as Cyberfox, etc. I still think that the various Mozilla based browsers can peacefully co-exist with one another in the same Mozilla group. Just my opinion. Those who may not like hearing Pale Moon or other Mozilla code based browsers mentioned need to also realize that us users of alternatives can also get info on plug ins, extensions, etc, from the general Mozilla Software forum and the alternatives may indeed continue to get mentioned there and cannot be ridiculed.
