Hey,

if anyone's experiencing this, a trace route would be fantastic.

I've been having this issue for the few days, seems to be getting worse if anything. Pings to teksavvy's Toronto server just came back at 400ms. Since I live in Toronto my issue may be unrelated.

Immediately after your router, very high ping times. Could be a congestion issue, could be a latency issue with the router.
Try without your router. And please post new results.

I am in a uniquely unfortunate situation where, as a tenant, I don't have access to the modem and router. The landlord has been away for a few days, alas...

At any rate, the router is an ASUS AC68U, so I have confidence in it. Additionally, traffic traverses the LAN quickly at all times. So, currently I am more inclined to think it is an issue beyond the router, but perhaps not.

Last night there was a brief reprieve from slow conditions but they have returned, however slightly faster now. Download speeds don't seem to be impacted at all, but latency is pretty bad. Between Toronto servers other than Teksavvy's latency is around 100 and tracerts are coming back with higher than normal latency.

This looks like local node congestion to me

10.124.45.129 is the CMTS. You definitely need access to the modem to reboot it to make sure it's not the frequency you are on that's the problem.
