It's interesting to see how spoiled kids are now. Spoiled by the existence of better technology, but also the willingness of people to buy it for them. When I was a kid I saved my money from mowing lawns and my allowance for months to be able to purchase my own Gameboy. My parents we proud of the fact that I did it and bought me a couple games and an accessory kit.
I am guilty of spoiling kids as well. My 2.5 year old nephew has his own iPad because I upgraded and gave him the hand me down. I guess as technology advances things become, for lack of a better term, disposable.
