Can Rogers filter internet signals at a location

Hi there,

We were wondering if Rogers can filter internet signals at a location. I know they can put a filter on the line to stop analog signals and can disconnect our unit if we have no services.

We currently have Rogers Business Internet, but were looking to IISP's to provide service. Since modems can be moved around, can we cancel Rogers Business internet and order an IISP service at our residential address and then move it after installation to the business?

The business would still have TV service active on the line (Digital TV adapters). Is this possible, or is there a chance Rogers can filter the line and remove the internet signal?

Thanks so much!

They have no filters that block out internet service.

However, what you're proposing is a violation of the TOS, and Rogers conducted an audit not too long ago to crack down on users who were using their equipment in locations other then the service address.
