R7000 inbound filters

Does anyone know how to set inbound filter rules on the Netgear R7000?

The security menu only has options to block services.
The manual states that there should be options to allow trusted I.P.s,
but there is no such option.

I am trying to port forward a specific port, but I only want to allow one trusted
I.P. and drop connections from all other I.P.s

Other routers have this capability.
Where are the firewall filtering options options on the R7000?

I will have to flash DD-WRT or Tomato if there is no option in the stock firmware.

I've never used this option, but check out Access Control:

You can use Access Control to allow or block computers or electronic devices from accessing your network.

Thank you for replying.

The Access Control is is LAN/MAC filtering system. This option is not
very useful to me.

As I read more about the R7000, there appears to be very limited firewall configuration
options.

I do like the performance of the router, but not being able to set up firewall rules
is a big problem. I noticed that others have posted int he Netgear forums regarding
this topic. Sadly, there was no response there.

I agree. I'm thinking of going to dd-wrt, but it doesn't appear stable yet. »dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.ph ··· on_R7000 I just got the r7000 after my trusty wndr4500 running dd-wrt took a lightning hit. Sigh. So much for APC units...
