Craftsman weed eaterI got a craftsman weed eater that runs only on full choke. When you pull the gas lever it dies immediately. I bought a new carb and it is still doing the same thing. Don't know where to turn to next. Thanks |

Gummed fuel lines?
Mine would do that if I left old fuel in it. A couple of strokes with pure seafoam + letting it sit for a few minutes would fix it right up (along with adding fresh fuel). |

I changed the fuel lines as well as the carb. |

Gas cap not letting air into the tank? There's a one way valve in the cap to let air into the tank as gas is consumed. |

this can happen if you put the lines on incorrectly. a bad primer bulb can cause this too. also, the primer bulb has to pull the gas from the carb, not push it in. when the gas is pulled out, fresh gas is pulled into the carb.. |
