Part 2 The other day I upped my current plan to the HSI Enhanced (advertised as 3mbps - 7mbps), will this affect my FastPath in any way and could it possibly switch me back to Interleave?

They used to provision it based on line quality (for example, all lines in my neighborhood used to be FastPath). Good chance that when they process your upgrade and turn the speed up, the FastPath will go away. Just re-request it when that happens.
