[Internet] Bell Home Hub 1000 and resolving local network hostnamesHi
got the Home Hub 1000 and surprisingly discovered that all hosts/devices getting their IP through DHCP from the hub are shown with hostname in the modem/hub's admin interface but nameserver lookups from 192.168.2.1 don't resolve - seems that the modem is not resolving any local hostnames at all. Is that known, is there a solution?
Thanks |

I'm also quite disappointed that they took out DHCP reservation. |

Hi Dhcp reservation is still there. Just make sure that the device did request an iP (non static), you can set an iP for it in the network device overview.
I had to go reservation and hosts file hardcoding to get some names resolved again to work around the issue with local hostnames. |
