Ok then! Thanks Verizon So you went from 50/25 to 50/50 and are getting 70/75? Nice. Looks like you stole mine and chewypgh's download fluff though :-( |

I'm on BPON (Tellabs 612). I see all of the options up to 500/500.
I have the Preferred HD Triple Play with 50/25 (now upgraded to 50/50). |

Odd. I'm on double play with Select. Maybe Verizon is still punishing Pennsylvania, haha. Brings back memories: » Picture Perfect Deal [33] comments |

I going to guess you have a provisioning error or cross connect issue. Only thought is to pull the battery and power from the ONT and do a hard reset
I'm on a Gpon Ont ... so that might have something to do with it .. |

Just put the order through online. Took effect immediately. Thanks for the heads up, OP! |

I'm on the Motorola 1000M3 ONT. I don't even have the option to order 75Mbps when I go to the Verizon site, but I can however go order 150/300/500 (requiring a truck roll of course...) |

I'd say this is pretty good. This is on an non-GPON ONT as well so I'm impressed. |

612 ONT and 75/75. I even asked them if I needed a GPON ONT for this and they said no, GPON is only needed for 150/150 and up. |

said by Bytezboy:I have 22 months left in my agreement. Here's what it shows:
Price Months 2 - 21 = $84.99/mo Price Month 22 = $94.99/mo Price Months 23 - 24 = $129.99/mo
Shouldn't it be $84.99/mo for the next 22 months? I'm wondering about this, too. I have 18 months left, and it's showing $89.99 for month 1, $99.99 for months 2-18, and $129.99 for months 19-24. If they're just calculating based on different start months, then I should be out of contract in months 19-24, so it's not a problem. However, if they're still starting from the same month my contract started, that means I'll pay more for those last 6 months. The fact that you only have 2 months of higher prices indicates to me that the system just doesn't know how to handle anything less than 24 months, but we'll be out of contract those last months. Can anyone confirm? I don't want to change my plan without knowing for sure. For what it's worth, I did the live chat to ask them the same question, and they said just leave it all as is, and my speeds would automatically upgrade in a few days. Not sure if I trust them or not. |

Yup, you are right, mine is now $20 more instead of -$5 dollar + free speed upgrade. I'm on the phone with them now. |

same here, so much for the symmetrical connection but I suppose if you want to be a bit torrent hero this is for you. so far the trend seems to be anyone with 50/25 is capped @ 50 upload and VZ over provisioned the upload. Those with 75 tiers and got the fluff. I would have rather had my numbers reversed but it is what it is... I probably should have left if alone, LOL. previously we were getting 58/38 as well. » www.speedtest.net/result ··· 5404.png |

I will let you know but I have to wait until tomorrow, the CS personnel today can't do anything about it. It looks like we in NYC are the only ones affected or could be many here haven't come back to their "My Verizon" and check their account's new pricing after the free upgrade. I'll suggest for those who have not done the upgrade through the website yet to do the upgrade by phone so they can make sure that what they're doing is a free upgrade and not a service change. I think that's what happened to me, the system treated my "free upgrade" as a change of service even if I choose to not change my present contract agreement. |

I can't. You will need to wait for the billing people to determine what happened with your order. |

I called billing and asked them because my order said I was 139.99 for 75/75, prime HD and digital voice. Got the e-mail and that said 169.98. Called and they looked and said the e-mail is wrong, it's 139.99 in their system so they put a note on my account and told me to call if my next bill is wrong. |

I actually did my renewal order yesterday and wasn't offered the symmetrical speed. Since the order is still pending, I can't even investigate this further, but will in a day or three...I'd love to get back to symmetrical as my usage will benefit from that. |

Does this sound in the ball field?
I would add on TV service if it drops my current 50/25 internet-only plan for $89.99/month to $65/month with the 75/75 TV+internet package.

Video Franchise Taxes, Sports Network fees plus the STB/DVR/CableCard rental fee, unless you basically do nothing to actually watch that TV. |
