I upgraded my service yesterday from 20mb to Lightning 60 and was told it would go into effect immediately. A few hours later it was still at the 20 speed. The online tech person told me it could sometimes take 24 hours, and she resent the code to my modem. Well, it has been a day now and it still is at 20, is there anything you can check on your end to see if the new speed was sent to the modem?
