W.O.W. → Southeast Michigan WOW extremely slow..phoned tech -recording=servers "down"

Called into WOW because I am getting sick of the intermittent problems EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past few months in the evening hours (7-11pm). Today it was especially bad, and of course they had an automated recording "If you are calling to notify us that the internet server is down, we are working on it but have no estimate as to when it will be back online".

Had wow almost 10 years now... this year it has been VERY sub par.

At least you know its a system problem and not on your end.

Just checking up here as I just got an email from wow saying they were sorry for the outage. I was like Outage?

I know the internet was really really slow the 22nd and 24th, but I was up and running. I'm guessing because I have never used the cable co's DNS servers for getting around. I have always used external DNS providers with all the cable co's.
Their DNS breaks and I'm still surfing.
